The Israel Film Center at The JCC in Manhattan is a leading resource for Israeli film, with the goal of expanding Israel's emerging film industry and promoting Israeli culture in America. The center serves as an exhibitor, promoter, educator, funder, distributor, producer, network organizer, advisor, and festival producer, as well as includes a viewing library and on-line database of Israeli cinema.
Each time the film festival is to air in local markets, the local synagogues and public libraries will be encouraged to organize screening events around the broadcasts. Duki Dror will be available to make personal appearances at some events.
In order to generate public interest we will organize community outreach activities. A road-tour of screenings, attended by the Dror (or by one of the captivating characters in the films: Johar Abu Lashin, Vaan Nguyen) is scheduled to take place during the first national carriage, reaching communities and universities across the United States.
To finance this project, we are offering underwriter/sponsor spot before and after each film broadcast. Sponsorship levels range form $10-25K.
Sponsors will receive:
- 5-15 seconds underwriter spot before and after each film for a total of 2.5 minutes of airtime each time a station airs the film series. Underwriter spot may feature video, animation, graphics and accompanied speech in accordance with PBS guidelines.
- Sponsor will get their own web page of content on the companion website, and also a link to their website
- Sponsor will have a presence at the promotional Public TV event
- Sponsor will be acknowledged as the series sponsor in all community outreach activities.
- Sponsor will be acknowledged as the series sponsor in all press materials.
